Zegna Announces Partnership with Real Madrid

Italian luxury brand Zegna has recently announced its partnership with Spanish football giant Real Madrid for the upcoming 2022/2023 season. As part of this collaboration, Zegna will be responsible for dressing the team members during their travels, reinforcing the trend of luxury brands venturing into the world of football. This follows successful collaborations between Christian Dior and Paris Saint Germain, Fendi and AS Roma, and Moncler and FC Internazionale Milano.

Under the tagline “all kings need a tailor,” Zegna has joined forces with Real Madrid to create a new line of travelwear. The collection will include the highly anticipated Triple Stitch sneaker, which will be officially unveiled during a special presentation in Madrid on September 30th. Notably, Zegna, a brand with a rich history dating back to 1910, will provide attire for both the male and female first teams in football, as well as the basketball teams and their respective coaches.

By sponsoring Real Madrid, Zegna aims to enhance the visibility of its brand among a wider range of consumers. It also serves as an opportunity for Zegna to showcase its new logo, which was revealed a few months ago. This partnership not only highlights the growing presence of luxury brands in the world of sports, particularly football but also sparks speculation about potential future collaborations. Rumors are currently circulating about a potential partnership between American label Off-White and Italian club AC Milan, further solidifying this trend.
