YNAP Appoints Vikki Kavanagh as Managing Director of Mr Porter

YNAP, the parent company of luxury e-tailer Mr Porter, has made another internal promotion with the appointment of Vikki Kavanagh as the Managing Director of Mr Porter. This news comes after Kavanagh already held the position of Managing Director at sister brand Net-A-Porter. While there has been no official announcement from the company, Kavanagh confirmed her new role on LinkedIn.

Kavanagh brings a wealth of experience to her new position. Prior to becoming the Managing Director of Net-A-Porter in June 2021, she served as the Interim Managing Director of YNAP from April 2020. She joined the company in 2017 as the Buying Director for The Outnet and worked her way up to become the Global Buying & Merchandising Director. Before joining YNAP, Kavanagh held various buying positions at renowned retailers such as Very Exclusive, Harvey Nichols, House of Fraser, and Fenwick.

This appointment is part of a series of management changes at YNAP. Earlier this week, it was announced that Alison Loehnis will take on the role of Interim CEO, replacing Geoffroy Lefebvre from 31 October. Additionally, Philippe Larrieu has been named as the Regional General Manager for Japan, joining YNAP from Clarins.

These recent promotions and appointments reflect YNAP’s efforts to strengthen its leadership team and solidify its position as a key player in the luxury fashion e-commerce industry. By appointing Vikki Kavanagh as the Managing Director of Mr Porter, the company is showcasing its commitment to delivering exceptional high-end menswear offerings to its discerning clientele. As YNAP continues to navigate the ever-changing landscape of online retail, these strategic moves are sure to contribute to its ongoing success.
