Yann Rivoallan appointed as new president of Fédération Française du Prêt-à-Porter Féminin (FFPAPF)

Yann Rivoallan, an experienced fashion industry professional and digital expert, has been appointed as the new president of the Fédération Française du Prêt-à-Porter Féminin (FFPAPF). His appointment was made at the organization’s general assembly on June 23, where the board of directors was also renewed. Rivoallan will succeed Pierre-François Le Louët, president of the strategic consulting agency Nelly Rodi, who served as president for the past six years.

At the age of 48, Rivoallan has shown an entrepreneurial spirit from an early age. After studying in Bordeaux, he started his first company at the age of 23 while still a student at the ESCP business school. With over two decades of experience in the French fashion industry, Rivoallan played a pivotal role in its digital transformation when he founded The Other Store in 2008. Now known as The OZ, the company specializes in implementing, developing, and managing e-commerce sales channels for various brands. It currently works with several dozen brands, employs approximately 70 people, and boasts a turnover of €50 million. Rivoallan remains a shareholder in the company.

In addition to his accomplishments in the fashion industry, Rivoallan launched a new company last year called Everywhere Anytime. This venture explores innovative digital formats for training professionals.

Rivoallan’s involvement with the FFPAPF dates back six years ago when he became an administrator of the Syndicat de Paris de la Mode Féminine. In 2019, he joined the FFPAPF’s board of directors, with a particular focus on digital matters. During the challenging times of the Covid-19 crisis, Rivoallan led webinars on revitalization and e-commerce best practices during lockdowns.

As the newly appointed president, Rivoallan will lead the FFPAPF for a term of three years. He will be supported by a board of directors that includes Sophie Pineau, Alain Sarfati, and Hervé Coulombel as vice-presidents, and Eric Sprung as treasurer. With Rivoallan’s extensive experience and expertise, the FFPAPF is well-positioned to continue its mission of promoting and supporting the French ready-to-wear fashion industry.
