WSN Développement Launches Groundbreaking Fashion Event ‘DRP’

WSN Développement, the renowned trade show organizer, is preparing to launch a groundbreaking new event called ‘DRP’ during Paris Fashion Week. This exciting event is specifically tailored for young Gen Z fashion enthusiasts who are also passionate about video gaming, basketball, skateboarding, sneakers, and the new digital landscape of Web3. DRP is scheduled to take place from June 23 to 25 at the Grand Palais Ephémère in Paris.

What makes DRP truly unique is its intention to bridge the gap between a traditional festival, an engaging event, and a trendy shop, providing its target audience with an unforgettable experience. Moreover, DRP will take place not only in the physical world but also in the metaverse, catering to the tech-savvy Gen Z audience. The organizers have dedicated more than two years to plan this event and are thrilled to introduce something fresh and unprecedented to the fashion scene in Paris.

DRP coincides with Men’s Fashion Week and is ideally situated just two days before a highly anticipated Chanel event at the same venue. By hosting DRP during Fashion Week, WSN Développement aims to grant the younger generation access to the world of fashion and create a space where they can actively engage with the industry.

One of the major highlights of DRP will be Sneakerness, an exclusive show dedicated to sneaker collectors. After a three-year hiatus, Sneakerness is returning to Paris and will occupy a dedicated area at the prestigious Grand Palais Ephémère. This show is expected to draw sneakerheads from all corners of Europe, showcasing the latest trends and coveted sneakers.

In addition to sneakers, video games and the exciting realm of Web3 will also take center stage. Multiple e-sports teams will be present, offering unique products tailored specifically for this occasion. Three brand-new games will be unveiled, and the virtual fashion e-shop, DressX, will represent the exciting worlds of NFTs and the metaverse players.

To further appeal to the Gen Z demographic, DRP intends to host a thrilling skate park as well as a 3X3 basketball court. Moreover, attendees will have the opportunity to witness the unveiling of the new jersey of the revered Red Star soccer club. The event strives to create an immersive and inclusive experience for all those who attend.

Fashion will undoubtedly have a significant presence at DRP, with an impressive lineup of 70 participating brands. The event will feature independent streetwear labels and Digital Native Vertical Brands (DNVB), specifically curated for this occasion. While the focus this year is primarily on independent brands, the organizers have future plans to attract more established and prominent brands in the coming editions.

What truly sets DRP apart is its presence in the metaverse. Dropville, the online counterpart of the physical event, will be accessible year-round. Visitors can explore this interactive 2D universe, participate in exciting egg hunts, and even stand a chance to win products from the brands showcased at the physical event.

WSN Développement aims to provide brands with an innovative interface to connect and interact with the communities they aspire to reach, seamlessly blending the physical and digital spheres. For a modest price of 15 euros per day, attendees can access this remarkable event, with priority passes available for 50 euros, granting early access on the morning of June 23. The organizers anticipate approximately 15,000 enthusiastic attendees to be part of this groundbreaking event. DRP is poised to revolutionize the fashion, gaming, and digital experience for the Gen Z audience.
