Woolrich International Appoints Corrado Scala as Sales Director for Europe

The prestigious American outdoor brand, Woolrich International, has recently appointed Corrado Scala as their new sales director for Europe. This strategic move follows the appointment of Stefano Saccone as the brand’s CEO last July, marking a significant shift in the company’s leadership structure.

With a background in working for renowned fashion and luxury brands like Ralph Lauren, Murphy & Nye, Mandarina Duck, Fay, and Tommy Hilfiger, Scala brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to his new role at Woolrich International. His primary focus will be on driving the brand’s international expansion efforts and enhancing its global presence.

Stefano Saccone expressed his confidence in Scala’s capabilities, highlighting his professionalism and enthusiasm as valuable assets that will contribute to Woolrich International’s growth and transformation. Scala himself shared his excitement about joining the brand at a crucial point in its history, emphasizing his commitment to achieving global success and improving consumer engagement.

Founded in 1830 by John Rich in Pennsylvania, Woolrich has grown to become a global brand with two distinct labels – Woolrich John Rich & Bros. and Woolrich Outdoor, developed in partnership with Japanese sportswear brand Goldwin. The brand’s collections are currently sold in 45 countries through a network of 32 standalone stores.

In 2016, Woolrich Inc. and Woolrich Europe merged to form Woolrich International, further strengthening the brand’s position in the market. Following the acquisition of a majority stake in the company by the L-Gam investment fund in 2018, Woolrich International has continued to make strides in the fashion industry.

With Corrado Scala leading the European sales team, Woolrich International is well-positioned for continued growth and success in an ever-evolving industry.
