Wax London Makes Carnaby Street Debut with First Shop Opening

Wax London, the contemporary menswear label founded in 2016 by friends Richard Singh, Tom Holmes, and Steffy Neceva, has made its mark by opening its very first permanent physical shop. The new store is located at 28 Foubert’s Place, just off the iconic Carnaby Street in the vibrant Soho’s Newburgh Quarter. This neighborhood is renowned for its creative independent brands, making it the perfect home for Wax London’s unique offerings.

Although Wax London has dabbled in physical retail with successful pop-up shops across London, this marks its first venture into a permanent brick-and-mortar location. The brand has established a global presence in department stores and online, and now, fans can experience the brand’s ethos firsthand at the new shop.

Spanning an impressive 700 sq ft across two floors, the newly opened store not only showcases Wax London’s stylish menswear pieces but also offers exclusive in-store collaborations. Visitors can look forward to innovative partnerships such as a bespoke coffee experience by Round Hill Roastery and gender-neutral jewelry by Phira London. The brand promises more exciting collaborations in store for the future.

At the heart of Wax London’s mission is a commitment to bringing British outerwear manufacturing back to the UK to reduce the carbon footprint of each garment. The brand prides itself on producing the majority of its outerwear in London. Beyond manufacturing, Wax London prioritizes sustainability by using organic yarns and dyes, incorporating recycled and upcycled fabrics whenever possible, and partnering with local mills that operate on clean energy and sustainable water management practices. Moreover, the brand is dedicated to utilizing energy-efficient transportation methods for the movement of materials and finished products.

Co-founder Tom Holmes underlined the brand’s sustainability focus by stating, “Sustainability has always been at the core of what we do, and in this store, we will continue to strive for greener, more ethical initiatives. We’re excited to introduce our customers to new collaborations and exclusive store offerings.”

The new Wax London shop in Carnaby Street is poised to become a go-to destination for individuals seeking stylish menswear with a conscious effort towards sustainability and ethical production practices.
