Vertu, the luxury mobile phone manufacturer, has unveiled its latest smartphone, the New Signature Touch. This updated version of the Signature Touch, which was originally launched in 2014, boasts more powerful components while maintaining its sleek and modern design. The collection includes four different colors and eight finishes, all featuring exclusive materials such as diamond, gold, ceramic, titanium, sapphire crystal, and alligator leather.
The New Signature Touch is equipped with a Full HD screen measuring approximately 5.2 inches, offering a resolution of 428 pixels per inch. It boasts a Snapdragon 810 processor, 4GB of RAM, and a display made entirely of sapphire glass. The rear camera boasts 21 megapixels resolution and is accompanied by a dual LED flash, while the front camera features a resolution of 2.1 megapixels.
In terms of connectivity, the New Signature Touch is compatible with 4G (up to 300 Mb/s), Wi-Fi a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, and NFC. It also includes Qualcomm’s QI 2.0 wireless charging. Additionally, the smartphone features a battery capacity of 3,160 mAh, offering a satisfactory battery life.
The device is equipped with two speakers boasting Dolby Digital Plus sound, and it offers a storage space of 64GB, expandable with a MicroSD card. The phone measures 155 x 74 x 10.8 mm and weighs between 225 and 236 grams depending on the model.
Each model in the New Signature Touch range features a screen made from a single piece of 130-carat sapphire crystal. The use of the most prestigious natural materials sets these models apart.
The Jet Calf model boasts a brushed and polished grade 5 titanium structure, a reinforced black ceramic pad, and a grade 5 titanium back. It is presented in a calfskin leather case and is priced at 8,400€.
The Garnet Calf model features brushed and polished grade 5 titanium edges, a reinforced black ceramic pad, and a grade 5 titanium back. It is also presented in a calfskin leather case and is priced at 8,400€.
The Grape Lizard model showcases brushed and polished grade 5 titanium sides, a reinforced black ceramic pad, and a grade 5 titanium back. It is adorned with luxurious lizard skin and is priced at 9,400€.
The Pure Jet Lizard model highlights brushed and polished grade 5 titanium edges covered with black PVD, a reinforced black ceramic pad, and a grade 5 titanium back dressed in black PVD. It is also adorned with luxurious lizard skin and is priced at 10,500€.
The Jet Alligator model boasts brushed and polished grade 5 titanium edges, a reinforced black ceramic pad, and a grade 5 titanium back dressed in black PVD. It is covered with sumptuous alligator skin and is priced at 12,200€.
The Pure Navy Alligator model features brushed and polished grade 5 titanium edges covered with blue PVD, a reinforced black ceramic pad, and a grade 5 titanium back dressed in blue PVD. It is covered with sumptuous alligator skin and is priced at 13,500€.
The Clous De Paris Alligator model stands out with its grade 5 titanium back and sides, coated with an extremely resistant layer of bronze DLC. Its magnificent guilloché pattern reflects light to evoke the brilliance of precious metals. In addition to its polished titanium finishes, it is adorned with sumptuous alligator skin crafted by specialized French and Italian tanneries, giving it a soft matte finish and a sublime appearance. It is priced at 15,500€.
The Pure Jet Red Gold model is highlighted with red gold, from the volume buttons to the power button, as well as the screws, the call pad support, and the edges of the back plate. The sides and back of the phone are made of grade 5 titanium, enhanced with black PVD for a striking contrast. This exceptional Vertu phone is presented in a calfskin leather case and is priced at 17,900€.
The New Signature Touch smartphones will be available for purchase starting from October 16, 2015.
