Valentino’s Next Runway: A Majestic Affair At Château De Chantilly

Valentino, the renowned Italian fashion house, has chosen the esteemed Château de Chantilly as the venue to unveil its upcoming Haute Couture Autumn-Winter 2023/2024 collection during Couture Week from July 3rd to 6th.

Situated approximately fifty kilometers north of Paris, this historic monument is famous for its impressive library and extensive galleries, housing one of France’s largest collections of ancient paintings. The Château de Chantilly is encompassed by a sprawling 115-hectare park that beautifully combines a classic French garden, designed by André Le Nôtre in the 17th century, with captivating Anglo-Chinese inspirations. Valentino describes it as a captivating backdrop that captures the essence of “the most decadent history in the world.” Notably, the fashion house is committed to repurposing the sets of its fashion shows, adding an element of sustainability to its creative endeavors.

In May 2018, Dior also selected the Château de Chantilly, owned by the Institut de France, as the venue for its Cruise 2019 show. The Grandes Écuries (Great Stables) of the estate provided an exquisite setting for the event, further solidifying the location’s significance in the fashion world.

The highly anticipated presentation of Valentino’s Haute Couture Autumn-Winter 2023/2024 collection, curated by creative director Pierpaolo Piccioli, will be broadcasted live on the brand’s website and social media platforms at 7:30 PM. This global streaming will allow fashion enthusiasts from around the world to witness the grandeur and artistry of this remarkable showcase at Château de Chantilly.
