Valentino Collaborates with National Chamber of Italian Fashion to Promote Independent Designer on Instagram

Valentino has announced its collaboration with the National Chamber of Italian Fashion to promote an independent designer on its Instagram account during Milan Fashion Week. In an effort to provide opportunities for young designers, the National Chamber of Italian Fashion will leverage the social media reach of established luxury fashion houses.

Leading up to Milan Fashion Week, Valentino has joined forces with the National Chamber of Italian Fashion to highlight the work of an Italian designer on its official Instagram account. Creative Director Pierpaolo Piccioli has personally selected Marco Rambaldi, a designer hailing from Bologna known for his commitment to inclusivity and his ability to challenge stereotypes. Rambaldi’s Fall/Winter 2022/2023 Women’s collection will be showcased on Valentino’s Instagram account, granting him tremendous exposure to the brand’s extensive following of 16 million followers.

This partnership aims to create a recurring initiative and ensure that Valentino continues to be a brand that supports emerging talents and embraces innovation. The project will be repeated during the September 2022 Fashion Week, cementing Valentino’s reputation as an advocate for new voices in the fashion industry.

This development comes shortly after the launch of applications for the 9th edition of the prestigious LVMH Prize 2022. The LVMH Prize, established by luxury conglomerate LVMH, is dedicated to discovering and supporting the next generation of designers. It further demonstrates the industry’s commitment to nurturing and guiding the designers of tomorrow.
