The funding round, led by Animoca Brands, Polygon Studios, Red DAO, and other investors, aims to shape the future of luxury and culture in the metaverse. Founded by Shashi Menon and Nick Gonzalez, the creators of Nervora, the publishing company behind Vogue Arabia, UNXD gained recognition through its partnership with Dolce & Gabbana. The successful collaboration resulted in the creation of the virtual fashion collection, Collezione Genesi, which generated over $5.65 million in an auction. The partnership continues with the launch of DGFamily, a virtual community centered around NFT boxes that offer unique online and offline experiences. UNXD and Dolce & Gabbana have warned their audience about potential scams on rival marketplaces. UNXD will also co-organize the Metaverse Fashion Week in collaboration with Decentraland virtual world, further emphasizing the platform’s capabilities and the potential of NFTs in the fashion industry. Additionally, UNXD has been selected by Jacob & Co to showcase NFT creations based on their Astronomia watch model.
