Tory Burch Appoints Thibault Villet as President for APAC Region

Tory Burch, the iconic American luxury fashion brand, has made a significant move by appointing Thibault Villet as the new president for the competitive Asia-Pacific (APAC) region. In his upcoming role, Villet will be responsible for leading and overseeing all aspects of Tory Burch’s operations in the APAC region, reporting directly to CEO Pierre-Yves Roussel. With an official start date set for December 28, Villet brings a wealth of expertise garnered from his previous positions in the industry.

Villet’s most recent role was as the president for Asia at One in Beauty, where he played a pivotal role in elevating the status of Elizabeth Arden as the seventh most sought-after prestige brand on popular Chinese e-commerce platforms. Prior to this, Villet co-founded Mei.com, a highly successful flash sales retailer in China that was later acquired by Alibaba, showcasing his entrepreneurial acumen.

His impressive resume also includes key leadership positions at Coach and L’Oréal Group, highlighting his deep understanding of the Asian market. With a proven track record and a strong entrepreneurial mindset, Villet’s addition to the Tory Burch team is expected to drive significant growth for the brand in the APAC region.
