Tomorrow Invests in Charles Jeffrey Loverboy

Tomorrow, a multi-service brand development platform for fashion businesses, has made a significant investment in the ready-to-wear and accessories brand Charles Jeffrey Loverboy. The purpose of this investment is to “democratise access” to the label and assist in its international expansion. Tomorrow will play a crucial role in all aspects of the brand’s development and business, becoming its global licensing partner.

This is just the latest investment made by Tomorrow, which has previously invested in Machine-A and Lucinda Chambers’ Colville label. The company has a strong focus on portfolio-building, seeking brands that have a meaningful connection with communities.

Charles Jeffrey Loverboy, founded by Scottish designer Charles Jeffrey, has a distinct approach to fashion, placing great emphasis on diversity and creativity. Jeffrey launched the brand after starting the Loverboy club night in London as a means to fund his MA course at Central Saint Martins. With the support from Tomorrow’s investment, Jeffrey and his team can expand and develop their creative ideas while making the brand more accessible internationally and offering more affordable price points.

Loverboy will utilize Tomorrow’s platform of services, which include production, marketing/content development, e-commerce, distribution, and partnerships/collaborations. By doing so, Loverboy aims to enhance its brand and extend the sense of community and messages that are fundamental to its ethos.

Stefano Martinetto, the co-founder and CEO of Tomorrow, expressed his excitement about the partnership, acknowledging Charles Jeffrey’s immense creativity. Martinetto believes that this collaboration will drive growth for both Loverboy and Tomorrow, while also strengthening the Loverboy movement.

Through this investment, Tomorrow takes a step towards its goal of supporting brands with a strong community focus. Leveraging their platform and resources, Tomorrow aims to help Loverboy expand its global presence and reach new audiences, all while staying true to its creative and diverse ethos.
