Tommy Hilfiger’s Official Fashion Partnership at 2020 Hahnenkamm Ski Races

Tommy Hilfiger recently marked a significant accomplishment as the official fashion partner of the 2020 Hahnenkamm Ski Races in Kitzbühel, Austria. The brand pulled out all the stops for the event, which included a show-stopping performance by The Black Eyed Peas at the highly anticipated Kitz-Race-Party on January 25th. This gala coincided with the 23rd edition of the Kitz-Charity-Trophy race and showcased various activations as part of the Tommy Hilfiger Official Fashion Partnership.

Guests at the event were treated to a visual feast of Tommy Hilfiger-branded elements scattered throughout the venue, including eye-catching slopes, racing flags, gate flags, starting and finishing line banners, and even a majestic hot air balloon hovering over the racing area. Additionally, a pop-up store was set up at the trade village, where visitors could delve into the latest collaboration between Tommy Hilfiger and renowned French outerwear brand, Rossignol.

Highlighting this collaboration was a special edition sweatshirt designed specifically for the occasion, along with a curated selection of winter/pre-spring 2020 sportswear styles for both men and women. The event also featured the presence of Tommy Hilfiger, Dee Hilfiger, and CEO Daniel Grieder, who spearheaded a fundraiser during the trophy race to support local farming families facing financial hardships. Through this initiative, a commendable amount of €200,000 ($220,386 USD) was raised for the cause.

The spirit of partnership and philanthropy extended to the Tommy Hilfiger store in central Kitzbühel, where the latest pieces from the Rossignol collaboration were proudly showcased in a dedicated window display. Tommy Hilfiger, renowned as PVH’s top revenue generator, has been experiencing a surge in demand across Europe, paralleling the success of fellow PVH brand, Calvin Klein.

In a remarkable turn of events, PVH raised its full-year adjusted profit forecast in November 2019 after reporting a revenue increase of 2.5% to $2.59 billion. Notably, the Tommy Hilfiger brand alone saw a notable sales boost of approximately 10%, reaching $1.24 billion. This impressive growth further underscores Tommy Hilfiger’s position as a powerhouse in the fashion industry.

All in all, the collaboration between Tommy Hilfiger and the Hahnenkamm Ski Races served as a triumph in blending fashion, sports, and philanthropy. The event exemplified the brand’s unwavering commitment to supporting local communities and fostering innovative partnerships that transcend the worlds of fashion and sports.
