Tom Ford Bolsters Executive Team with Senior Appointments

Tom Ford, the renowned luxury brand, has made significant additions to its executive team with the appointment of Rebecca Mason as Senior Vice President (SVP) of Global Brand Image and Paolo Cigognini as SVP of Global Communications and Media. This move further demonstrates Tom Ford’s dedication to enhancing its brand image and communication strategies.

Rebecca Mason, joining from Condé Nast where she held the position of Vice President of Global Creative, brings over 15 years of experience in luxury brand storytelling. Specifically, Mason’s expertise lies in delivering visually impactful and bold concepts. In her new role at Tom Ford, she will be responsible for maintaining the brand’s consistency in style and philosophy across all categories. This means ensuring that the signature Tom Ford touch is expressed in every aspect of the brand, from advertising campaigns to product design.

Guillaume Jesel, President and CEO of Tom Ford, expressed his confidence in Mason’s abilities and praised her for her extensive experience in the industry. He believes that she will be instrumental in continuing to deliver creative and visually stunning concepts that align with the brand’s values. Mason will report directly to Jesel and will also have matrix reporting to Peter Hawkings, Creative Director at Tom Ford.

Joining Mason in the executive team is Paolo Cigognini, who has had an impressive two-decade career in global luxury marketing and communications. Cigognini previously held the position of Chief Marketing Officer at Alexander McQueen and has also taken on leadership roles at Bottega Veneta, Dolce & Gabbana, and Bulgari. With his extensive experience, Cigognini has been appointed as SVP of Global Communications and Media at Tom Ford. In this role, he will oversee various essential aspects, including brand equity, strategic communications, and media presence. Cigognini will also be responsible for ensuring a cohesive brand voice and talent across all categories. Reporting to Jesel, Cigognini will have matrix reporting to Lelio Gavazza, CEO of Tom Ford Fashion.

Lelio Gavazza commended Cigognini for his outstanding leadership in strategic communications and his ability to drive luxury aspiration and enhance brand equity for business growth. With Cigognini on board, Tom Ford aims to strengthen its communication efforts and elevate its position in the global luxury market.
