The Renowned Lemon Festival in Menton Introduces NFTs

The renowned Lemon Festival in Menton, which celebrates the winter season on the French Riviera, is set to take place from February 11th to 26th. In its 89th edition, this year’s festival aims to embrace both tradition and digital innovation with the introduction of its first-ever NFTs. The theme for the 2023 festival is “Rock & Opera,” and it will showcase 5,000 NFT figurines featuring the festival’s revamped mascot, John Lemon, designed by street artist Faben.

Taking the lead in this groundbreaking initiative are the city of Menton, represented by Mayor Yves Juhel, and Event Coordinator Stéphanie Jacquot, with support from My Hologram. The public will have the unique opportunity to own the digital representation of the festival’s mascot for just 30 euros.
