The Landmark: Tiffany & Co.’s Reimagined Flagship Store On Fifth Avenue

Following more than four years of extensive renovations, the esteemed jewelry brand has recently reopened its iconic New York location. Nestled on the bustling Fifth Avenue, the store has undergone a complete transformation, now aiming to establish itself as one of Manhattan’s premier retail destinations.

Known as The Landmark, this flagship store, inaugurated in 1940 and immortalized in the classic film “Breakfast at Tiffany’s” starring Audrey Hepburn, has undergone its most significant renovation to date.

In line with other remarkable retail openings orchestrated by the LVMH group, such as the Dior flagship store on Avenue Montaigne, Tiffany & Co. has embarked on a comprehensive overhaul of its space. Spanning over 10,000 square meters across ten floors, including three newly added levels, the store has been revitalized to offer a captivating and immersive experience.

Leading the architectural vision are renowned architect Peter Marino and the esteemed OMA New York studio. Their meticulous design aims to present the brand’s creations thematically, with each floor dedicated to a specific theme. From engagement rings to silver creations, lifestyle products, and an impressive collection of high jewelry pieces, The Landmark showcases the breadth and artistry of Tiffany & Co.

Anthony Ledru, CEO of Tiffany & Co., describes the reopening of The Landmark as a significant milestone, transforming it into a true cultural hub. The store boasts an exquisite collection of nearly 40 art pieces, including contributions from renowned artists such as Damien Hirst, Julian Schnabel, Rashid Johnson, Anna Weyant, Daniel Arsham, and the iconic “Equals Pi” painting by Jean-Michel Basquiat, which gained prominence through the “About Love: The Carters for Tiffany & Co.” campaign featuring Beyoncé and Jay-Z as ambassadors. Moreover, The Landmark showcases the brand’s heritage through dedicated areas, including an immersive installation featuring a replica of the legendary little black dress designed by Givenchy for Audrey Hepburn.

Tiffany & Co. goes above and beyond by introducing additional elements to elevate the retail experience. Visitors can indulge in the Blue Box Café, overseen by renowned Michelin-starred chef Daniel Boulud, offering delectable cuisine amidst the elegant surroundings. Furthermore, the store features an exclusive VIP suite on the top floor, providing a luxurious space for discerning clientele.

Step into the renewed Tiffany & Co. flagship store at The Landmark, located at 727 Fifth Avenue, New York, New York, USA, and embark on a captivating journey through the brand’s rich heritage and extraordinary craftsmanship.
