Teva and fashion designer Anna Sui have once again come together to introduce a captivating floral footwear collection for the spring of 2021. This collaboration between the renowned comfort brand Teva and the New York-based designer Anna Sui has resulted in a collection that seamlessly blends style with functionality.
Having previously worked on a footwear collection in the spring of 2019, Teva and Anna Sui have now unveiled two new styles in their latest collection – the ‘Flatform Universal Anna’ and the ‘Ember Mid Anna.’
The new collection’s standout feature is the use of a fresh Liberty Fabrics print titled ‘Botanist’s Diary,’ which showcases a vibrant pressed botanical print with flowers commonly found in English gardens. The collection pays tribute to nature while embodying a whimsical and wearable aesthetic that Anna Sui is known for.
The Flatform Universal Anna offers a high-fashion twist on the classic Teva sandal, featuring a 1.75-inch platform, recycled polyester webbing, premium Liberty Fabrics print nylon twill, and fringe detailing. With an adjustable hook-and-loop closure, this style is designed for a perfect fit and retails at $150.
On the other hand, the Ember Mid Anna boasts a water-repellant upper, a heightened sole, a soft microfiber lining, and a responsive PU footbed with a microfiber top cover for added comfort. Priced at $190, this style exudes luxury while maintaining the functionality that Teva is known for.
Anders Bergstrom, Teva’s general manager, expressed enthusiasm for the collaboration, highlighting the successful integration of Anna Sui’s bold aesthetic with Teva’s classic styles. Anna Sui herself emphasized the importance of nature as an inspiration for her designs and the incorporation of sustainable materials in the collection.
The Teva x Anna Sui footwear collection is now available for purchase on teva.com, annasui.com, Free People, Bloomingdale’s, and American Rag, starting from February 2, 2021. With past collaborations with brands such as Opening Ceremony, the Tegan and Sara Foundation, Herschel, and Woolrich, Teva continues to push the boundaries of fashion and functionality.
