Swatch Group Appoints Bertrand Delvert as New Director of Swatch Group France

Swatch Group, a renowned name in the world of watchmaking, has made a significant change in its leadership by appointing Bertrand Delvert as the new director of Swatch Group France. Delvert takes over from Florence Ollivier-Lamarque, a stalwart in the Swiss watch industry who has been with the group since 1988. While Ollivier-Lamarque steps down from the director’s role, she remains an integral part of Swatch Group as a member of the general management team and as the head of the Flik Flak watch brand.

Delvert brings a rich background to his new role, having started his career at Franҫaise des Jeux in 1993 before transitioning to Swatch Group in 2000. His most recent position was as the vice president of marketing and communication at Tissot International, a role he had held since 2014. With his diverse experience and expertise, Delvert is poised to lead Swatch Group France to new heights.

In the first half of 2018, Swatch Group reported a significant increase in sales, reaching 4.26 billion Swiss Francs ($4.28 billion). This impressive growth of 12.6 percent compared to the previous year is a testament to the company’s continued success in the market. With Delvert now at the helm of Swatch Group France, the company is well-positioned to build on this momentum and strengthen its position as a leader in the watchmaking industry.
