Swarovski Foundation Launches Second Round of Creatives for Our Future Program

The Swarovski Foundation is excited to announce the launch of the second round of its Creatives for Our Future program. This initiative aims to identify and support young creative leaders in the field of sustainability. Applications are now being accepted until August 8, 2022, from individuals between the ages of 21 and 31 who are interested in areas such as fashion, design, art, architecture, science, technology, and engineering.

One of the highlights of this program is the opportunity for participants to receive financial support for their projects. In addition, they will have access to valuable resources such as mentorship, educational programs, and networking connections within the industry. This comprehensive support system is designed to help nurture and develop the next generation of creative leaders who are passionate about sustainable development.

To further enhance the program’s impact, the Swarovski Foundation has partnered with the United Nations Office for Partnerships. This collaboration aims to promote education, creativity, and a sustainable future. Marisa Schiestl-Swarovski, Chair of the Swarovski Foundation, expressed her pride in the program’s second year and emphasized the importance of empowering young talent to tackle global sustainability challenges with innovative approaches.

Applicants for the Creatives for Our Future program must demonstrate creative ideas and solutions that contribute to sustainable development. The objective is to design new ways to create a better world and address pressing environmental and social issues. The program will kick off in October with online mentor sessions and master classes. A mid-program check-in will take place in December to evaluate the participants’ collective progress. The program will officially conclude in March 2023.

Annemarie Hou, the acting executive director of the United Nations Office for Partnerships, highlighted the significance of collaboration in amplifying the creativity and talent of young leaders. She commended the Swarovski Foundation’s program for aligning with the Sustainable Development Goals and for creating opportunities for impactful change.

Aspiring creatives are encouraged to seize this opportunity by submitting their proposals and showcasing their potential to contribute to a sustainable future. With the support of the Swarovski Foundation and the United Nations Office for Partnerships, participants in the Creatives for Our Future program will have the chance to make a lasting impact in the realms of sustainability and creative leadership.
