Step up and Get Moving! Hermès Embraces Sporting Habits with New Advertising Film

Step up and Get Moving! Hermès, the luxury house, is embracing the changing sporting habits of consumers worldwide with the release of their new advertising film, “Start the movement.” The film represents dynamism and is a response to the social distancing measures and remote work that have altered the way people engage in sports.

Taking inspiration from sportswear codes, Hermès, which has a rich history dating back to 1837, showcases its range of accessories including silk, jewelry, belts, and sneakers. These items are presented in poses inspired by rhythmic gymnastics, dance, and martial arts.

The video aims to invite individuals to embrace the role of everyday athletes with elegance and agility. It is choreographed to the lively soundtrack of the Parisian group Juniore. Through this film, Hermès successfully conveys a sense of energy and movement, capturing the spirit of their brand.

Earlier this year, Hermès experienced a return to growth in the third quarter of 2020. The brand is set to release its figures for the entire past year, providing an overview of its performance. Additionally, Hermès has recently been recognized with the Grand Prix Humpact Emploi France 2020, an esteemed award that celebrates the brand’s contribution to job creation in the country.
