Stella McCartney and LVMH’s Collaboration in Skincare Industry

Stella McCartney and LVMH have announced their newest collaboration, an exciting venture into the skincare industry with their new line called Stella. This partnership, which began in 2019, has now expanded to include a range of skincare products set to launch this September.

Stella by Stella McCartney sets itself apart as an “Alter-Care” alternative to traditional luxury skincare, focusing on natural, vegan ingredients and cruelty-free principles. The conscious luxury skincare line aims to give consumers a choice while promoting self-care and sustainability.

The line consists of three essential products: Reset Cleanser, Alter-Care Serum, and Restore Cream. These products have been meticulously developed over three years in partnership with LVMH’s renowned Beauty R&D unit, LVMH Recherche. They have been formulated to support the skin’s regeneration and protection functions, with scientifically proven results.

Staying true to Stella McCartney’s commitment to sustainability, the skincare line has been meticulously designed to have minimal environmental impact. The products are made with at least 99% natural-origin ingredients and are packaged in eco-conscious refill containers. Additionally, the line boasts a uniquely captivating scent named High Cliff, created in collaboration with esteemed perfumer Francis Kurkdjian.

Antoine Arnault, representing LVMH, expressed his enthusiasm about the partnership with Stella McCartney, stating their shared dedication to promoting sustainable and responsible luxury fashion. Stella McCartney herself spoke about their team’s unwavering commitment to creating effective and responsible skincare that is deeply rooted in nature while minimizing its impact on the environment.

Consumers will be able to purchase the Stella McCartney skincare line through the designer’s flagship store on Bond Street in London, as well as on the Stella McCartney Beauty website. The line will also be available at various UK retailers and boutiques, including Space NK. Additionally, one percent of net sales from the skincare line will be donated to Wetlands International, a conservation non-governmental organization (NGO).

The launch of Stella signifies an important milestone in the ongoing partnership between Stella McCartney and LVMH, highlighting their shared mission to champion sustainability and provide consumers with an ethical choice in the beauty industry. By combining Stella McCartney’s vision for conscious luxury with LVMH’s expertise in beauty, the new skincare line is poised to make a significant impact in the market.
