Start-Up with Seven Dials Pop-Up Incubator

London’s Seven Dials district is making waves in the business world with the launch of an exciting new initiative – the Start-Up with Seven Dials pop-up incubator. This groundbreaking program is designed to not only support start-up businesses but also to bring a fresh array of innovative brands to the local area, helping it to bounce back stronger after the challenges faced during the lockdown period.

The Start-Up with Seven Dials initiative is being hailed as the ultimate business incubator pop-up space in the heart of London’s bustling West End. It provides a fantastic opportunity for a diverse range of retail brands spanning fashion, lifestyle, fitness, and homewares to showcase their products. These brands have all emerged from the entrepreneurial spirit that thrived under the unique circumstances of lockdown, showcasing the resilience and creativity of small businesses.

Behind this bold initiative is Shaftesbury, the prominent landlord that owns a significant number of properties in Seven Dials, Covent Garden, and Carnaby. Acknowledging the strength and ingenuity displayed by small businesses during the Covid-19 lockdown, Shaftesbury is offering exclusive support to these budding enterprises by providing them with a physical retail space in Seven Dials.

For a limited two-week period, aspiring entrepreneurs are invited to pitch their ideas for a chance to secure a coveted spot in this iconic West-End village. A panel of industry experts will carefully evaluate all entries, selecting brands that demonstrate innovation, quality, and market potential. The chosen brands will receive invaluable support from Shaftesbury and Seven Dials to establish and launch their businesses for the first time in a prime retail location.

The selected brands participating in this autumn’s pop-up space will rub shoulders with Seven Dials’ established independent brands such as Farah, Diesel, Coco De Mer, and Tatty Devine. These well-known brands have already set up flagship stores in Seven Dials, adding to the area’s diverse and vibrant retail landscape.

To ensure a safe shopping environment, Seven Dials has implemented timed road closures in collaboration with Camden Council. These closures, which are in place between 10am-6pm seven days a week until the end of the year, facilitate safe social distancing measures, making the area even more appealing for both shoppers and businesses.
