ST95 Returns under Christopher Ræburn’s Direction

The iconic ST95 label, known for its dedicated following, is making a highly anticipated return under the creative direction of Christopher Ræburn. Last year, Left Hand Studios Limited, a UK-based company, acquired both The Left Hand and ST95 brands. After a hiatus of over twenty years, ST95 is finally back with its first new collection.

Originally launched in the mid-1990s by the visionary designer Massimo Osti, who also created renowned brands like Stone Island and C.P. Company, ST95 has become synonymous with forward-thinking and cutting-edge design. Ræburn, based out of his Ræburn Lab in East London, has taken on the challenge of reviving the brand while staying true to its original essence.

The first release of the relaunched ST95 collection centers around outerwear that beautifully blends military and utilitarian elements with a contemporary twist. What sets this collection apart is its unwavering commitment to sustainability, as all the pieces are crafted from 100% recycled materials. This aligns perfectly with Ræburn’s personal philosophy of responsible design.

The initial drop of the collection will be limited, with select UK retailers such as Hip Store, Tessuti, Wellgosh, and Yards offering stock this week. European customers can look forward to a wider release in 2022.

The acquisition of ST95 by Left Hand Studios Limited was announced alongside Moncler’s acquisition of Stone Island, indicating a significant shift in the fashion industry. While there are no current updates on the future of the Left Hand label, the relaunch of ST95 is incredibly fitting in today’s fashion landscape. ST95 has always appealed to a younger and more athletic demographic compared to its sister brand, making it a perfect fit for the current trend environment.

With Christopher Ræburn at the helm, ST95 is poised to make a strong comeback. With its progressive design, commitment to sustainable practices, and loyal fanbase, the brand is primed for success in the years to come. Stay tuned for more exciting developments from ST95 and the creative vision of Christopher Ræburn.
