Simon Porte Jacquemus, the renowned designer, is embarking on a new phase of collaboration with American equipment manufacturer, Nike. The summer of 2022 saw the introduction of their first joint creations, which included a collector’s version of the Nike Air Humara sneakers, a personal favorite of Jacquemus. However, it seems that the Humara is not the sole recipient of his favor anymore.
In February, Jacquemus gave a glimpse of a new co-designed pair through a series of detailed photographs. The sneaker featured a treaded sole and leather lace tips, leading many to speculate about a revamped Air Force 1 sneaker.
Recently unveiled, the new collaboration between Nike and Jacquemus unveils a combination of the Air Force 1 and Nike ACG Terra models. This hybrid model, named JF1, incorporates the best elements of both sneakers while offering a sophisticated twist. Detailed craftsmanship, including a hand-sewn sole, sets the JF1 apart.
The black and white JF1 is scheduled for release on June 13. Given the success of the initial collaboration, which drew over 500,000 visitors to Jacquemus’ e-shop on its launch day, the JF1 is anticipated to experience a similar level of popularity.
