Sergio Tacchini Europe and Sugi International Enter Long-Term Footwear Licence Agreement

Sergio Tacchini Europe and Sugi International have recently entered into a new long-term footwear licence agreement. This partnership will enable Sugi International to distribute Sergio Tacchini’s branded footwear across Europe, Russia, North Africa, and the Middle East.

Sugi International, recognized as a specialized footwear company, has already established successful shoe deals with renowned brands like Levi’s, Raf Simons, Replay, and Stone Island. By teaming up with Sugi, Sergio Tacchini aims to not only improve the quality and variety of its footwear offerings but also expand its distribution network and customer base.

Under the collaboration, the design and development teams at Sugi will work closely with Sergio Tacchini’s apparel designers right from the start. This ensures that all products are well-coordinated and seamlessly integrated across different categories and channels.

Howard Cohen, the CEO of Sergio Tacchini, has expressed his confidence in the partnership, stating that Sugi is perfectly aligned with the brand’s overall strategy. He further praised Sugi’s commitment to producing high-quality products and exploring new distribution channels. Cohen believes that Sugi’s passion for brand building will greatly benefit the Sergio Tacchini family.

Vincent Touzet, the Director of Sergio Tacchini Europe, echoed Cohen’s sentiments by saying that Sugi’s product and brand vision perfectly complements Sergio Tacchini’s thriving apparel business in Europe. With plans to strengthen the brand’s presence in existing markets and venture into new territories, Touzet is excited to collaborate with Massimo Sinigaglia, the leader of Sugi International, and his exceptional team.

Overall, the footwear licence deal between Sergio Tacchini Europe and Sugi International presents an exciting opportunity for both companies to expand their reach and offer customers an enhanced range of footwear options. This collaboration is expected to bring mutual benefits and contribute to the growth of both brands.
