Sandersons Appoints Benjamin Lappin as Manager of Five Valleys Boutique Store in Stroud

Sandersons, the well-known regional department store group, has recently announced the appointment of Benjamin Lappin as the new manager for its Five Valleys boutique store located in Stroud. Lappin will be taking over from Simon Bateman, who has been promoted to the position of Logistics Manager, providing support for Sandersons’ online platform.

In his new role, Lappin will be responsible for leading a team of 10 individuals across various departments including ladies’ and men’s fashion, accessories, beauty, and fragrance. With more than 15 years of valuable retail experience under his belt, Lappin brings a wealth of knowledge to this position, which he intends to utilize to further develop the store and its team. Having been trained on Savile Row and previously serving as the national manager for several menswear brands, he possesses a strong understanding of the high-end department store format.

Before joining Sandersons, Lappin held the position of manager at the esteemed independent menswear store, Brook Taverner, located in Cirencester, for a period of three years. Lappin expressed his excitement about his new role, highlighting his enthusiasm for working in a premium and luxury retail environment, an area that perfectly aligns with Sandersons’ offerings. He looks forward to collaborating with the team and enhancing the overall customer experience, particularly with the introduction of new brands such as Hugo Boss in the upcoming autumn season.

Founder of Sandersons, Mark Dransfield, has expressed utmost confidence in Lappin’s abilities, emphasizing his extensive experience in the retail and fashion sectors. Dransfield believes that Lappin’s appointment ensures that customers will continue to receive the exceptional service they have come to expect from Sandersons.

Sandersons, renowned for its stores in north Sheffield and Morpeth, Northumberland, is responding to the growing demand from customers and will now be open seven days a week, starting from June 11th. The store offers a wide range of popular brands including Barbour, Barbour International, Holland Cooper, Pennyblack, Jacob Cohen, Hackett, and soon, Hugo Boss. Sandersons has also built a solid reputation for its luxury fragrance selection, featuring notable brands like Parfums de Marly, House of Oud, Atkinsons, and Chanel.
