Salvatore Ferragamo’s ‘Join the Movement’ Campaign with Stephen Galloway

Salvatore Ferragamo once again demonstrates its mastery in blending fashion and art by collaborating with former Frankfurt City Ballet principal dancer, Stephen Galloway, for their newest ad campaign. The dynamic 45-second video clip showcases Galloway choreographing a stunning performance by five models – Nataliya Bulycheva, Imari, Songhwa Oh, Liam Kelly, and Alton Mason, highlighting the flexibility and movement of Paul Andrew’s designs.

Entitled ‘Join the Movement,’ the campaign features a diverse group of models dressed in sleek black ensembles, with women adorned in luxurious coats, jackets, skirts, jumpsuits, and dresses crafted from dark leathers and silks with exquisite rhinestone embellishments. The men exude style in impeccably tailored suits, Norfolk jackets, and leather biker jackets paired with Ferragamo’s timeless Tramezza Oxford shoes.

Captured in vibrant color by the talented photographer Bibi Borthwick, the video encapsulates the models’ graceful movements, emphasizing the comfort and freedom featured in Ferragamo’s latest collection. This campaign marks Ferragamo’s reintroduction to the Milan menswear season after showcasing in Florence for four seasons.

Stephen Galloway’s background in ballet, under the tutelage of William Forsythe at Ballet Frankfurt, infuses the campaign with a dynamic and visually striking energy. His experience includes work as a costume designer and creative movement consultant, collaborating with renowned photographers like Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin.

The holiday collection will be available at Salvatore Ferragamo flagship stores globally, alongside a digital campaign rollout across various social media platforms. The campaign’s focus on the joy of movement and the ease of wearing Ferragamo’s designs encapsulates the brand’s essence of elegance and comfort.

Stephen Galloway’s innovative choreography and ballet expertise have brought a fresh and captivating perspective to Salvatore Ferragamo’s latest campaign, solidifying the fashion house’s reputation as a trailblazer in the fusion of fashion and art.
