Saint Laurent Transforms Flagship Store into Hub of Artistic Performances

In response to the current pause in cultural events, the renowned fashion house, Saint Laurent, is taking innovative steps to bring entertainment to its audience. Through a series of live shows called “Live Sessions at Saint Laurent Rive Droite,” the fashion house is transforming its flagship store in Paris’ Rive Droite district into a hub of artistic performances. This store was previously home to the famous concept store Colette before Saint Laurent took over the space.

The vision behind this project is to create a retail space that emphasizes curation and creation. In addition to hosting a café and exhibitions, Saint Laurent is now showcasing its artistic DNA by unveiling a series of live concerts. These performances are being streamed on the brand’s channels, ensuring that fans and followers can access them from the comfort and safety of their own homes.

Organized by artistic director Anthony Vaccarello, these live sessions commence at 9 pm and kicked off this month with a mesmerizing concert by artist Franky Gogo. Lasting just under 15 minutes, this inaugural performance is readily available for viewing on Saint Laurent’s social media platforms and official website. To enhance the experience, the fashion house has also curated a dedicated playlist on the popular streaming platform, Spotify.

As Saint Laurent takes a bold step in adapting to the current circumstances, it offers a glimpse into the future of blending fashion and entertainment in a unique and intimate way. By utilizing digital platforms, the brand ensures that its audience can continue to engage with and appreciate the artistry that lies at the heart of its identity.
