Saint Laurent Rive Droite Launches FANZINE and Exhibition Dedicated to Indigo Lewin

Saint Laurent Rive Droite, the popular Parisian concept store, is once again reaffirming its support for the contemporary art scene. Established in 2019 by Anthony Vaccarello, creative director of Saint Laurent, the store has recently announced the exciting launch of FANZINE, a magazine that serves as a platform for up-and-coming artists.

The inaugural issue of FANZINE features a collaboration with rising British photographer Indigo Lewin. Lewin has meticulously selected a collection of exclusive photographs from her personal archive for the magazine. Through her work, she encapsulates the essence of personal connections, the human form, and the vibrance of youth, capturing intimate moments with her close friends.

Saint Laurent commends Lewin’s talent and believes that her photographs unveil the extraordinary beauty present in shared experiences. Accompanied by Lewin’s personal commentary, these never-before-seen images offer readers a unique peek into her private world, establishing an intimate and personal connection.

Starting from September 16 to October 15, FANZINE will be available for purchase exclusively at the two Saint Laurent Rive Droite stores in Paris and Los Angeles. Alongside the magazine release, an exhibition solely dedicated to Lewin’s artistic endeavors will be showcased, providing visitors with the opportunity to delve further into her captivating works.

Saint Laurent, a luxury brand owned by the esteemed Kering group, has always displayed its dedication to the arts. Over the years, the label has regularly organized exhibitions and cultural initiatives at its concept store on rue Saint-Honoré in Paris. The introduction of FANZINE underscores the brand’s unwavering commitment to cultural engagement, a tradition deeply entrenched in its heritage dating back to its establishment in 1961 by Yves Saint Laurent and Pierre Bergé. With a remarkable revenue of €1.7 billion in 2020, Saint Laurent’s influence and impact continue to expand within the realms of fashion and art.
