Raeburn Rebrands: A New Chapter in Sustainable Fashion

In a monumental move to mark a decade in the fashion industry, London-based sustainable fashion label Christopher Raeburn has decided to undergo a major transformation. Rebranding itself as ‘Raeburn’, the label has introduced a fresh new logo that pays homage to its humble beginnings of repurposing military surplus materials, such as parachutes, into stylish and innovative clothing pieces.

The newly unveiled logo, as described by Christopher Raeburn himself in a blog post, features a bold and iconic representation of a 28’ parachute used by air forces worldwide. The color palette chosen for the logo – consisting of white, olive, sand shades, and a pop of fluorescent orange – draws inspiration from the camouflage and signaling properties of military parachutes. This thoughtful reinvention of the brand’s image sets the stage for an exciting new chapter in the journey of Raeburn.

Following closely on the heels of Christopher Raeburn’s groundbreaking appointment as the global creative director of Timberland in October, the brand has made yet another strategic move by bringing Graeme Raeburn, Christopher’s brother, on board as the performance director. Drawing from his extensive experience as the lead designer at luxury cycling brand Rapha for over a decade, Graeme Raeburn is set to bring a fresh perspective and expertise to his new role within the brand.

With these transformative changes, Raeburn stands poised to make a significant impact in the fashion landscape in 2019. Firmly establishing itself as one of London’s most promising sustainable labels, the brand is ready to take on new challenges and opportunities in the eco-friendly fashion market. This rebrand signifies the beginning of an exciting era for Raeburn, promising innovative and sustainable fashion that resonates with the modern consumer.
