Pure London Partners with Graduate Fashion Week

Leading UK tradeshow Pure London has announced a partnership with Graduate Fashion Week, demonstrating their dedication to supporting and nurturing emerging talent in the fashion industry. This exciting collaboration will see 12 winners from Graduate Fashion Week present their collections on the Pure London catwalk show, which will take place from July 16-18 at Olympia in London.

The inclusion of these graduate collections on the Pure London runway is a significant opportunity for the young designers to showcase their work alongside established and emerging brands exhibiting at the show. With a large number of industry professionals, buyers, and press in attendance, this platform provides valuable exposure for the graduates and their designs.

Graduate Fashion Foundation, a charitable organization that serves as a springboard for graduates and a reservoir of new talent for the industry, recently hosted their own fashion week in June. The Winners’ Catwalk at this event was a highlight, featuring the collections of the winning and highly commended graduates. From a wide range of exceptional collections, Pure London handpicked 12 standout designers to showcase on their catwalk, representing universities from across the UK.

Erika Roznyte from Bath Spa University, Lucy James from Arts University Bournemouth, Phoebe Potter from Edinburgh College of Art, and Rachel Hunt-Pearce from Birmingham City University are among the talented graduates chosen to participate in the Pure London catwalk.

Gloria Sandrucci, Pure London Event Director, expressed her belief that Graduate Fashion Week was the perfect partner for Pure London, as both platforms share a vision of promoting and nurturing the talents of young design innovators. Sandrucci highlighted the importance of fostering these talents to ensure that the creative industries continue to thrive, not only in the UK but globally as well.

The collaboration between Pure London and Graduate Fashion Week not only showcases Pure London’s commitment to supporting emerging talent but also emphasizes the significance of creating platforms and opportunities for young designers to present their work to industry professionals. By joining forces, these influential events are cultivating a thriving ecosystem for the future of fashion innovation.
