Printemps Launches Le Studio: A Revolutionary Media Hub in Their Paris Department Store

Printemps, the renowned department store chain in Paris, is taking their brand strategy to new heights with the launch of Le Studio, an innovative media hub located in their flagship store. This space, situated on the 4th floor of Printemps Haussmann, aims to be the first of its kind, offering a unique combination of content creation and production within a department store.

The primary goal of Le Studio is to accelerate Printemps’ content strategy and enhance agility in their retail operations. The space will allow for podcast recordings and the filming of live-shopping content, thanks to a collaboration with Bambuser, a Swedish start-up and recipient of the prestigious LVMH Innovation Award 2021.

Amidst the ongoing pandemic, Printemps recognizes the importance of adapting to evolving consumer behaviors. By embracing new forms of remote consumption, the department store aims to further engage with its international client base. Le Studio will not only facilitate content creation but also serve as a venue for photo shoots, both by Printemps itself and in partnership with other brands. Additionally, the space will foster connections between the store and its community by hosting meet-up events and recorded live performances with an audience.

Earlier this year, the Printemps group unveiled a new strategic positioning that centered around a refreshed identity, accelerated digital transformation, and innovations in experiences and services. As part of this initiative, they introduced the Hors Saison corner, which focuses on dormant stock, within the Paris Haussmann store. Maud Funaro, Director of Transformation at Printemps, emphasized that the department store is shifting from a transactional relationship to an emotional one, envisioning a future where department stores serve as hubs for both commercial and non-commercial experiences. With the introduction of Le Studio, Printemps is undoubtedly paving the way for a retail revolution.
