Pringle of Scotland Revives The Bulletin Magazine

Pringle of Scotland has recently announced the revival of its in-house magazine, The Bulletin, as a way to pay homage to its rich history and to support emerging talent in the fashion industry. The luxury knitwear brand shared the news on social media, showcasing archival issues that date back to the iconic ‘London Fashion Show’ in 1957.

Originally launched in 1949, The Pringle Bulletin was a staple for employees, providing updates and messages from the chairman in a friendly and personalized manner that reflected the brand’s values. The decision to bring back The Bulletin stems from a desire to honor this tradition and to share new stories from individuals within Pringle’s circle.

Fran Stringer, the women’s design director at Pringle, expressed her excitement about reimagining and celebrating The Bulletin. She emphasized the brand’s history of storytelling and its commitment to weaving new narratives into its heritage.

The relaunch of The Bulletin serves as a tribute to Pringle’s origins in Hawick, Scotland, and solidifies its dedication to supporting up-and-coming talent in the industry. While initially conceived as a singular project, there is potential for The Bulletin to become an annual publication that continues to showcase the brand’s legacy and evolution.

The latest issue of The Bulletin features a captivating photo series of the brand’s factory by recent graduate William Scarborough, as well as a stunning editorial that juxtaposes archive cashmere with the picturesque waterfalls of Wales, expertly captured by photographer Julie Greve. Fashion photographer Angelo Pennetta beautifully captured model Lili Sumner adorned in classic knitwear ensembles, complemented by additional images by Oliver Hadlee Pearch that highlights both archive and contemporary Pringle pieces, showcasing the best of British talent.
