Prada Launches Prada Possible Conversations

Italian fashion house Prada has recently launched an exciting new initiative called Prada Possible Conversations on its official Instagram account. With the current global pandemic and the need for social distancing, Prada saw an opportunity to connect with their audience and will be hosting a series of live discussions on a weekly basis, involving various figures from the world of fashion and culture.

The first episode of Prada Possible Conversations is scheduled to take place on Tuesday, April 14th at 6pm CET. The discussion will feature Pamela Golbin, the Artistic Director of Jacquard x Google Arts and Culture Residency, and fashion critic Alexander Fury. To make it easily accessible to everyone, these engaging conversations will be livestreamed on Prada’s Instagram page.

What sets this initiative apart is that it not only aims to offer entertaining content during this confinement period but also demonstrates Prada’s commitment to solidarity. For each conversation, Prada will be making a donation to UNESCO in order to support cultural and scientific projects that have been affected by the Covid-19 pandemic. This contribution will specifically be used to produce protective masks and gowns for healthcare workers, utilizing Prada’s own workshops.

In addition to the Prada Possible Conversations, the fashion house has also virtually opened the doors to its renowned Fondazione Prada contemporary art space. This allows art enthusiasts from around the world to access exclusive programming online while they continue to stay at home.

For those who are interested in participating, the live sessions of Prada Possible Conversations can be found on the brand’s official Instagram page. Prada’s commitment to supporting culture and creativity during these challenging times deserves admiration and sets a positive example for other luxury fashion houses to follow.
