Prada Enhances Finance and Legal Teams with Key Executive Appointments

Prada, the renowned Italian luxury group, is enhancing its finance and legal teams through the addition of three key executives. The company has appointed Andrea Bonini as its new Chief Financial Officer (CFO), succeeding Alessandra Cozzani. Cristina De Dona has been named General Counsel, while Diego Maletto will serve as Internal Audit Director.

Cozzani had held the position of CFO since 2016 but left the company on September 30 to explore other opportunities. Bonini, who will assume his role on May 2, will be responsible for managing Prada’s administration, finance, control, tax, and investor relations departments. Reporting directly to the CEO duo, Miuccia Prada and Patrizio Bertelli, Bonini brings with him a wealth of experience garnered from previous positions at M&A Gallo & C. and Goldman Sachs, where he held various roles, including Managing Director.

De Dona, Prada’s newly appointed General Counsel, will oversee the company’s legal, intellectual property, and corporate affairs divisions. With a considerable background in the legal sphere both domestically and internationally, De Dona previously served as Chief of Staff at the Italian Ministry of Justice and Deputy General Counsel of the Ferrero Group. Her most recent role was that of International General Counsel for American company The Hershey.

As Internal Audit Director, Maletto will report to Paolo Zannoni, the Chairman of the Board of Directors. Maletto’s professional journey encompasses experience in consulting from his time at Ernst & Young in Italy and the United States. He also possesses expertise in internal auditing, having previously been responsible for Vodafone’s internal audit in Italy, Greece, Albania, and Malta. Most recently, he served as Group Audit Director at Italian motorway company Autostrade per l’Italia.

These strategic appointments underscore Prada’s commitment to bolstering its finance and legal departments, further supporting its future growth and development. The new team members bring an abundance of knowledge and expertise to their respective roles, which will undoubtedly contribute to Prada’s success in the luxury market.
