Prada and Miu Miu Solidify Their Positions as Top Luxury Fashion Brands

According to the latest edition of the Lyst Index, luxury fashion brands Prada and Miu Miu have solidified their positions at the top of the industry. Despite the challenges brought on by the pandemic, Prada has reclaimed its title as the hottest brand in the world for the third time since Q4 of 2022. The brand experienced an impressive 41% increase in searches globally compared to the previous year, demonstrating its resilience and popularity.

Notably, Prada’s sister brand, Miu Miu, secured second place in the rankings, further emphasizing the success of the Italian luxury business. This achievement underscores the brand’s ability to captivate consumers and remain relevant in a highly competitive market.

The top 20 brands in the Lyst Index included other renowned names such as Moncler, Balenciaga, Burberry, and Jacquemus. Moncler rose by two positions to claim the fifth spot, showcasing its continued appeal among fashion enthusiasts. Balenciaga also experienced a significant jump, securing the twelfth place after climbing two spots. UGG also made a return to the index, securing the seventeenth position. The brand’s Tasman slippers ranked sixth among the hottest products in the quarter, showcasing UGG’s appeal and ability to capture consumer interest.

Balenciaga’s rise in the rankings can be attributed to its strategic efforts in celebrity endorsements and image rebuilding. The brand’s pre-fall 2024 show garnered positive reviews, and its collaboration with Erewhon generated significant online buzz, further solidifying its position in the market.

Skims, a popular shapewear brand, experienced rapid growth, climbing three spots to claim fourteenth place. Its partnership with Swarovski and its status as the official underwear partner for the NBA contributed to its momentum. Additionally, the brand’s men’s boxer ranked tenth among the hottest products, highlighting its appeal to a wide range of consumers.
