Porsche Unveils Taycan 4S in Korea with Spectacular Holographic Show

Porsche has recently unveiled its latest 100% electric model, the Taycan 4S, in the Korean market through a unique and extravagant show. The German automaker partnered with experts in kinetic art to create a never-before-seen display that showcased the brand’s DNA and technological prowess. The highlight of the show was a spectacular light show featuring holograms of horses, depicting a mesmerizing equestrian ballet.

The event took place at the Porsche Taycan Arena in Garosu-gil and featured various visual and auditory attractions. Prior to the launch, trucks equipped with specially designed trailers roamed the streets of Seoul, projecting the holograms throughout the city. The holograms, consisting of 761 horse figures, paid homage to the iconic Porsche logo and the word “Taycan,” which combines two Turkish terms meaning “soul of a spirited young horse.” This clever blend of technology and storytelling adds depth and meaning to the presentation.

For Porsche, the introduction of the Taycan 4S in the Korean market is a significant milestone as it marks the brand’s first 100% electric vehicle to be launched in the country. Holger Gerrmann, CEO of Porsche Korea, expressed the company’s plans to expand its electric vehicle portfolio in Korea further. He stated that they intend to introduce the Taycan Turbo S and Taycan Turbo in 2021. The Taycan 4S boasts impressive specifications, including 530 horsepower, a top speed of 250 km/h, and the ability to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just four seconds. Additionally, the car offers a range of 407 km, making it a compelling option for eco-conscious consumers.

This innovative show curated by Porsche highlights the brand’s commitment to pushing boundaries in both technology and storytelling. By combining holographic artistry and the rich heritage of the Porsche brand, the company effectively captures the attention of the market and creates a memorable experience for its audience. The launch of the Taycan 4S in Korea sets the stage for future advancements in Porsche’s electric vehicle lineup, signaling a promising future for sustainable luxury cars in the country.
