Patou Market: A Unique Concept Store

The couture house is embarking on an exciting new venture this week by launching “Patou Market,” a concept store that promises a unique experience for its visitors. This innovative pop-up shop aims to surprise and reconnect with its community after facing several months of boutique closures due to the ongoing Covid-19 crisis.

Patou Market will offer a wide array of activities that cater to various interests. Visitors can indulge in creating herbariums and floral arrangements, including the intriguing concept of “flowered sushi.” Additionally, the concept store will also host cooking classes, plaster crafts, and workshops on maintaining proper posture. By providing such diverse experiences, Patou intends to engage with its audience on different levels and create a lasting impression.

In addition to these exciting workshops, Patou Market will also showcase the brand’s latest collection, Fantasia Botanica. Although the collection was recently launched online, this pop-up shop will be the first physical space where it will be presented. The event promises a retail exclusivity that will undoubtedly leave fashion enthusiasts captivated.

Furthermore, to complement the event’s theme, Patou Market will also offer a selection of exclusive products specially designed for this occasion. Limited edition tote bags, decorative posters, and upcycled hair ties will be among the unique items available for purchase.

As a special addition, Patou has curated a collection of “friendly” brands and items that will be displayed alongside their own pieces. Guillaume Henry, the artistic director of the fashion house, has carefully chosen these brands to complement Patou’s aesthetic and provide visitors with a diverse shopping experience. Tableware from Astier de Villatte, vinyl records from the Parisian boutique Dizonord, vintage magazines from OFR, and eclectic objects sourced by Tombées du camion are just a few examples of what visitors can expect to explore.

Patou Market will be open from July 4th to July 12th, from 12 pm to 8 pm, at its temporary location on 165 Boulevard Saint-Germain in Paris. This ephemeral space provides the perfect opportunity for individuals to immerse themselves in a unique retail experience, reconnect with the Patou community, and discover new and exciting brands.
