Pandora Establishes Global Marketing and Technology Hub in London

London has been selected by Danish jewellery brand Pandora for its new global marketing, digital, and technology hub. The company aims to recruit talented individuals in various fields to establish PandoraKey, a data-driven marketing focus that aims to improve the customer experience online and offline.

Previously, roles in data science, digital marketing, digital architecture and engineering, and experience design were based in Denmark. However, recognizing the abundance of digital and marketing talent in the UK, Pandora has made the strategic decision to shift these roles to London. The proximity of London to Pandora’s headquarters in Copenhagen also provides logistical advantages.

The establishment of the London hub follows the departure of Pandora’s chief marketing officer, Carla Liuni. This move to recruit global talent is a response to the increasing competition in acquiring professionals with the required digital capabilities.

Erik Schmidt, Pandora’s HR chief, emphasized the significance of understanding customers’ needs and providing them with personalized experiences. The focus on data and personalization is considered crucial in creating an exceptional customer experience. Schmidt also highlighted the company’s need for a flexible approach to talent acquisition due to its rapid growth. Pandora offers an attractive proposition to potential employees worldwide.

By setting up a presence in London, Pandora aims to tap into the city’s vast pool of digital and marketing talent. This expansion reflects a significant shift in strategy and showcases Pandora’s commitment to utilizing data and personalization to enhance the customer experience. With strong annual earnings in 2021, Pandora is well-positioned to drive further growth through this strategic move.
