Olivier Rousteing, the esteemed artistic director of Balmain, has recently made an exciting commitment to become the “fashion godfather” of Istituto Marangoni in Paris starting in 2022. This collaboration between the renowned fashion college and Rousteing himself will bring forth a special partnership that will manifest in various forms throughout the year.
According to a statement released by the college, in April, Rousteing will conduct a remarkable masterclass for an audience of 450 students. During this session, he will share his personal journey within the fashion industry and offer insights while answering any burning questions the students may have. Moreover, Rousteing will collaborate with the teaching staff at Marangoni to reflect upon the various programs the school offers and brainstorm ideas for their advancement.
Rousteing, who has held the position of artistic director at Balmain for over a decade, expressed his heartfelt gratitude for this opportunity and acknowledged the remarkable progress being made in the fashion industry.
