Nona Source Opens New Showroom in London

The luxury group’s dormant materials platform, Nona Source, is set to open a brand new showroom in London this week, providing British designers with the opportunity to directly access unused materials from major fashion houses. Nona Source, which began as an online platform dedicated to textile revaluation, is now expanding its reach outside of France. In April 2021, LVMH, the parent company of Nona Source, announced this exciting new sustainable initiative. The platform had already created a physical showroom in La Caserne in Paris a few months after its launch, allowing designers to visualize the fabrics and interact with Nona Source’s textile experts.

The success of Nona Source has already led to various actions, including a private sale in December. Stella McCartney, a renowned designer, praises the platform for its crucial role in addressing the lack of textile recycling. She explains, “Currently, less than 1% of the materials used to produce clothing are recycled into new textiles. This is where Nona Source comes in by taking these incredible fabrics from the dormant stocks of the biggest fashion houses in the LVMH group.”

Now, Nona Source is taking its mission to the United Kingdom. The new showroom in London, located near King’s Cross within the co-working space The Mills Fabrica, will give professional designers the opportunity to browse and purchase these precious materials at prices up to 70% off their original wholesale price. Romain Brabo, co-founder of Nona Source, expresses excitement about the showroom’s location, calling it “one of the most creative places in the world.”

The expansion of Nona Source to London not only provides British designers with sustainable and high-quality materials but also contributes to the growing network of regenerative solutions and sustainable innovations. The Mills Fabrica, specializing in these areas, is the perfect partner for Nona Source in this new venture.

As Nona Source continues to make a positive impact in the fashion industry, the opening of its London showroom marks an important milestone in its global expansion. Designers in the UK now have easier access to these exclusive materials, reinforcing the importance of sustainability and innovation in the fashion world.
