Nona Source Enhances Partnership with Young Designers to Promote Circular Fashion

Nona Source, the platform that specializes in reselling dormant fabrics from LVMH luxury houses, is taking steps to enhance its partnership with young designers in order to promote a circular approach to fashion. Recognizing that young designers are a significant customer base for the platform, Nona Source has appointed four ambassadors – Cecilie Bahnsen, Karoline Vitto, Nensi Dojaka, and Victor Weinsanto – to amplify its visibility and engage with emerging talents.

Starting from February until December 2023, these designers will be using fabrics handpicked by Nona Source to create inspiring, low-impact looks within their collections. Through this collaboration, the aim is to advocate for responsible fashion and spread awareness about Nona Source’s mission. This collective, known as “Mindful Creatives,” will continue to be renewed on an annual basis.

The panel of ambassadors consists of talented individuals from various parts of the world. Victor Weinsanto is from France, Cecilie Bahnsen hails from Denmark, Karoline Vitto is based in London but originally from Brazil, and Nensi Dojaka, who won the LVMH Prize in 2021, is from London with Albanian heritage.

Furthermore, as part of the 2023 edition of the LVMH competition for young designers, each winner will receive support and financial backing to acquire fabrics from Nona Source. This further emphasizes the dedication of both Nona Source and LVMH to sustainability within the fashion industry.

Established in 2021 by Romain Brabo, Marie Falguera, and Anne Prieur du Perray, Nona Source initially started as a digital concept but has now expanded to include physical showrooms in Paris and London. The platform’s growth is fueled by its commitment to circular fashion, providing designers with a sustainable solution for sourcing fabrics and reducing waste in the industry.

Nona Source’s collaboration with young designers not only offers them a platform for creativity but also promotes a more responsible and sustainable approach to fashion. By utilizing dormant fabrics and engaging with emerging talents, the platform sets an example for the industry, highlighting the potential of circular fashion and the significance of collaboration in building a more sustainable future.
