No Space, Just A Place: Exploring Luxury and Korean Art

The Italian luxury house is proudly sponsoring an innovative new project called “No Space, Just A Place.” This exciting venture is currently being showcased at the Daelim Museum in Seoul, offering a thought-provoking reflection on the rapidly changing world we live in. By combining the realms of luxury and Korean art, this exhibition aims to delve into the deep-rooted history of independent artistic spaces in the vibrant capital city, urging us to contemplate the notions of “togetherness” and the potential of alternative spaces as utopian havens.

To bring this captivating project to life, esteemed curator and art critic, Myriam Ben Salah, has masterfully curated the participation of ten independent art spaces: Audio Visual Pavilion, Boan1942, D/P, Hapjungjigu, OF, Post Territory Ujeongguk, Space illi, Space One, Tastehouse, and White Noise. By uniting these diverse art spaces, the exhibition promotes dialogue, encourages debate, and creates a fertile ground for artistic innovation. Additionally, renowned artists including Kang Seung Lee, Olivia Erlanger, Martine Syms, Meriem Bennani, and Cécile B. Evans have also contributed a remarkable selection of works inspired by the future and fantastical mythologies, enriching the exhibition with their unique perspectives.

For those who are unable to physically attend the exhibition, there is no need to worry. The “No Space, Just A Place” exhibition is also available in an immersive 360-degree virtual version on a dedicated website. This virtual experience allows art enthusiasts from around the world to explore the exhibition from the comfort of their own homes, providing access to the beauty and richness of this remarkable project.
