Nicolas Di Felice, having previously worked for renowned fashion houses such as Balenciaga, Dior, and Louis Vuitton, has now taken on the role of Artistic Director at Courrèges. Adrien Da Maia, the president of the luxury brand, expressed his confidence in Di Felice, stating that his “clear and modern vision perfectly aligns with the timeless values of the house.” Di Felice, a graduate of La Cambre in Brussels, is succeeding Yolanda Zobel, who departed in January.

Di Felice’s first collection for Courrèges is scheduled to be unveiled in March 2021. However, prior to that, a selection of iconic re-edited styles will be made available in the newly renovated flagship store located at 40 rue François Ier in Paris by the end of this year.
Since its acquisition by Artémis, the investment company of the Pinault family, in 2018, Courrèges has faced challenges in finding its audience. The brand, which gained recognition in the 1960s for its revolutionary style and emphasis on vinyl, will also reintroduce iconic pieces designed by André Courrèges later this year.
