Nick Bailey Appointed as Chief Operating Officer of END

Nick Bailey has recently been appointed as the Chief Operating Officer of END, a renowned luxury streetwear and sportswear retailer in the UK. This appointment brings a fresh perspective to the company, as CEO Parker Gundersen aims to bolster the leadership team and support END’s ambitious growth plans. The decision to hire Bailey comes after Carlyle Group made a majority investment in END last year.

Bailey’s impressive background includes a six-year stint as the Global Merchandising, Planning, and Distribution Director at Hunkemöller International, a popular European lingerie retailer. Prior to that, he held significant positions at George’s Asda, M&S, and Gap. With his extensive experience in the retail industry, Bailey brings valuable insights and expertise to END.

Gundersen, who previously served as the President of Retail Operations at DFS Group, a travel retail subsidiary of LVMH, expressed his enthusiasm about Bailey joining the executive team. He believes that Bailey’s retail knowledge will be instrumental in further strengthening the company’s already solid foundation.

Bailey’s key responsibilities as the new COO will revolve around developing END’s supply chain strategy and elevating the customer experience, with a particular emphasis on digital and marketing domains. Furthermore, END has exciting plans to expand its collection of statement stores both domestically and internationally. This expansion aims to introduce innovative and captivating offerings to both loyal and potential customers.

As END embarks on a new phase of growth and innovation, its co-founders Christiaan Ashworth and John Parker have shifted away from direct control of the business. This transition paves the way for further evolution and signifies the company’s dedication to expanding its horizons.
