New Bond Street Welcomes DSquared2 and Hackett Flagship Stores

New Bond Street in London, known for its luxurious shopping experience, is about to become home to two new flagship stores. DSquared2 and Hackett have both announced their plans to open stores on the iconic street in 2023 as part of GPE’s Hanover development.

DSquared2, a popular fashion brand known for its edgy and contemporary designs, will be relocating its flagship store from Conduit Street to number 67 New Bond Street. Covering 4,700 square feet across multiple levels, including the ground, basement, and first floors, the new store will offer collections for men, women, and children. Next to Opera Gallery and the recently opened Seiko flagship, the DSquared2 store will add to the street’s reputation as a luxury shopping destination, providing a unique shopping experience for its loyal customers.

Hackett, a British menswear brand, will be unveiling a new concept store at number 69 New Bond Street. Named “14 Savile Row,” after the brand’s original headquarters, the store will showcase the label’s heritage in bespoke tailoring. Spanning 2,350 square feet, the store will feature both bespoke offerings and casual menswear collections, catering to discerning shoppers in search of refined menswear options.

Although New Bond Street lost its title as Europe’s most expensive shopping street for rents to Milan’s Via Monte Napoleone last year, it continues to attract high-end brands and luxury retailers. Despite the removal of VAT-free shopping for tourists, which resulted in fewer international visitors, the allure of New Bond Street remains strong. The street’s reputation and affluent clientele command high rents for retailers.

The Hanover development, where DSquared2 and Hackett will be located, has become a hub for luxury brands. Alongside Opera Gallery and Seiko flagship stores, other renowned brands such as Bang & Olufsen, Canali, Pronovias, and Moyses Stevens call the development home. Visitors to the area can also enjoy a cup of coffee at WatchHouse coffee house or dine at The MAINE restaurant in Hanover’s Medici Courtyard. The prime location and prestigious tenant mix of the Hanover development solidify New Bond Street’s status as a must-visit destination for luxury shopping.

As New Bond Street continues to evolve and attract new luxury brands, it remains a prominent figure in London’s luxury retail scene. Its timeless charm and unmatched shopping experience make it a favorite destination for both locals and international visitors in search of the finest fashion, accessories, and lifestyle offerings. With the addition of DSquared2 and Hackett, New Bond Street’s reputation as a premier luxury shopping destination is sure to be further elevated.
