Natacha Ramsay-Levi and Charlotte Chesnais have been named as the presidents of the juries for the highly anticipated upcoming edition of the Hyères Festival. This exciting announcement was made during a special event hosted by the French Ministry of Culture, where the talented finalists for the 34th edition of the festival were also unveiled. Scheduled to take place from April 25 to 30 this year, the festival is renowned for its celebration of international fashion and photography.
Leading the fashion jury will be Natacha Ramsay-Levi, the esteemed creative director at Chloé. Following in the footsteps of notable industry figures like Haider Ackerman and Christelle Kocher, who presided over the fashion and accessories juries last year, Ramsay-Levi will bring her wealth of expertise and unique perspective to the judging panel. Joining her on the jury will be a stellar lineup of industry insiders and creatives, including Charlotte Casiraghi, actresses Sigrid Bouaziz and Ariane Labed, and Guillaume Houzé from Galeries Lafayette. Notably, last year’s winners Rushemy Botter and Lisi Herrebrugh will also be contributing their insights as jury members.
On the accessories prize jury, the talented jewelry designer Charlotte Chesnais will take the helm. Known for founding her eponymous brand in 2014 and winning the prestigious Andam Prize for fashion accessories in 2015, Chesnais brings a fresh and innovative approach to the judging panel. She will be joined by actresses Elodie Bouchez and Marina Foïs, Clara Cornet from Galeries Lafayette Champs-Elysées, Maison Goossens creative director Patrick Goossens, and last year’s winners Kate Fichard, Flora Fixy, and Julia Dessirier.
Both Ramsay-Levi and Chesnais have strong connections to renowned designer Nicolas Ghesquière, underscoring their deep-rooted knowledge and experience in the fashion industry. Their collaboration as jury presidents promises to inject a fresh perspective and valuable insight into the Hyères Festival, further solidifying its reputation as a platform for nurturing emerging talent and fostering innovative design. The inclusion of such prominent industry figures underscores the importance of championing and supporting up-and-coming creatives in the fashion and accessories realms.
