MVMT Appoints Eran Cohen as New CEO

MVMT, a subsidiary of Movado Group, has announced the appointment of Eran Cohen as its new CEO, effective from March 16. Cohen brings a wealth of experience to the role, having previously served as president and CEO of luxury apparel company St. John Knits, owned by Fosun.

Efraim Grinberg, chairman and CEO of Movado Group, expressed his enthusiasm for Cohen’s appointment and emphasized his expertise in brand building. Grinberg also commended Cohen’s successful leadership in revitalizing the St. John Knits brand and expressed confidence in his ability to execute strategic priorities and drive sustainable, profitable growth for MVMT.

Cohen’s extensive experience includes executive positions in companies such as PetSmart, Diane von Furstenberg, New York & Company, and Payless ShoeSource. His background spans marketing, merchandising, design, and digital, making him well-equipped to lead MVMT.

With its headquarters in Paramus, New Jersey, Movado Group is renowned for manufacturing its own watch brands, including Movado, Concord, Ebel, and MVMT. The company also collaborates with popular fashion and accessories brands, such as Coach, Hugo Boss, Lacoste, Olivia Burton, Tommy Hilfiger, and Scuderia Ferrari, to produce and distribute watches.

Cohen’s impressive track record and diverse experience are expected to greatly contribute to the growth and success of MVMT within the Movado Group. As the new CEO, he will work closely with Behzad Soltani, EVP commercial president and CTO of Movado Group, and will be based at MVMT’s headquarters in Los Angeles.
