Mr Porter Collaborates with Tom Ford for Exclusive Capsule Collection

Mr Porter, the luxury menswear site owned by YNAP, is no stranger to collaborating with big names in the fashion industry. Their latest partnership is with renowned designer Tom Ford, resulting in an exclusive capsule collection for the autumn season. The collection, which draws inspiration from the mod and punk era in London, features 43 pieces of ready-to-wear and accessories, all centered around sharp tailoring and outerwear in a monochromatic color palette. Traditional English fabrics like flannel, puppytooth, and herringbone are used to create these iconic Tom Ford styles.

Some of the key pieces in the collection include black leather and shearling peacoats, a shearling collar flight jacket, psychedelic swirl tuxedo jackets, a gingham blazer, black and white micro design suits, and mohair silk roll neck knitwear. This collaboration is particularly significant for Mr Porter, as it marks their largest exclusive capsule collection to date and is a nod back to the first Tom Ford collection they bought in 2015.

To celebrate the launch, Mr Porter will be running a global campaign across its marketing and editorial channels starting from October 23rd. This collaboration is just one of many major partnerships Mr Porter has embarked on recently. They have also launched exclusive capsule collections with Swedish outdoor brand Houdini and Italian performance footwear brand Diemme as part of their annual Go Out series. These collections aim to raise awareness and support for men’s mental and physical health initiatives under the Mr Porter Health in Mind program.

The Mr P x Houdini collaboration features seven ready-to-wear items in exclusive colorways, including a red recycled polyester insulation jacket, a sea-blue shell anorak, and a pair of grey softshell trousers, as well as four merino wool pieces perfect for layering. Each item in this collection includes unique trims and co-branded details.

The Mr P x Diemme collaboration centers around three hiking boots, available in black or bourdeaux Roccia Vet boots, as well as brown Roccia Basso boots. These boots feature the Mr P logo and custom orange details, adding a unique touch to the classic hiking boot design.

In addition to these collaborations, Mr Porter has also announced the second edition of its custom-designed collaboration with New York-based podcast Throwing Fits. Co-designed by hosts Lawrence Schlossman and James Harris, the collection showcases a curated selection of products from established and emerging menswear designers. With 10 brands and over 100 pieces of ready-to-wear, shoes, and accessories, each collection reflects the brand story and ethos, all through the lens of Schlossman and Harris.

Through these collaborations, Mr Porter continues to demonstrate its commitment to offering exclusive and innovative products to its customers. With partnerships like these, they push boundaries and provide fashion-forward options for the modern man.
