Most Searched Luxury Brands in France in 2021

According to the specialized platform Semrush, which analyzes online search data, the most popular luxury brands and houses among French internet users in 2021 are Louis Vuitton, Gucci, and Dior. Out of these three, Louis Vuitton generated the highest interest on search engines in France. With an average of 725,385 monthly online searches, the query for “Louis Vuitton” saw a significant boost in 2021. This increased interest can be attributed to the departure of Virgil Abloh, the iconic artistic director of the Men’s collections, as well as the holiday season, where the brand received over one million queries in December alone.

Coming in second place is Gucci, with an average of 386,846 monthly searches. Last year, the Italian brand celebrated its hundredth anniversary and benefited from the release of Ridley Scott’s film “House of Gucci,” which led to nearly half a million queries in November and December.

Dior completes the top three, with an average of 354,846 monthly searches in 2021. It is worth noting that this ranking includes eight couture houses within the top 10, showcasing the prominence of luxury brands in various sectors such as fashion, watchmaking, jewelry, tableware, and automobiles.
